Melanie

 Melanie comes to Diversitas WA with 10-years’ experience working in disabilities, including as a level 6 delegate planner working for the NDIS. This position was responsible for facilitating joint planning, building and implementation of supports for people and families with disabilities. Melanie embraced the role to empower families by providing all participants and representatives with information by guiding joint planning meetings, obtaining evidence, and exploring suitable support options for people with disability. Prior to working in the NDIS, Melanie worked for 4 years for the Department of Communities within Local Coordination and state-wide nursing consultancy, delivering knowledge and her expertise to all the Department of Communities supported independent living homes, situated south of the river.
