Michaela Sloan

With 23 years’ experience in the disability sector, Michaela is a dedicated, enthusiastic professional with a successful record of leadership, management, and customer service delivery in complex and challenging situations, both inside and outside the NDIA. With fluency in Auslan, she has worked closely with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities in both the UK and Australia. Michaela is driven by a high standard of integrity and her values are based on social justice principles. 

Michaela works extensively as part of the management team ensuring quality and that Diversitas WA’s strategic direction is sustained. 

What does a day in the life of Michaela look like? First, it is the coffee, followed by the work…and accompanied in the office at all times by her biggest weakness, her dogs!
